The weekly one where I show you what I’ve worn Monday-Friday. This used to be a pretty solid fixture on Instagram, and always went down really well in the grand old days, time to reinvent the format here.
Hey. Hi. Hello. Lovely Stalf-ers! How was this week for you?
Mine was a mixed bag (as you’ll see below!) Some days I was brimful of enthusiasm for the wardrobe and others (evidently) I just couldn’t care less. I’m tired this week. I think I’ve reached the point, as have most of you, I’m sure, where I just need the weather to break and the sun to shine a bit on my face.
On a brighter note, I got engaged this week! EEEK! Been floating on a happy cloud ever since. (More on that next week, I’m sure.)
But let’s rewind to Monday…
Here’s how Kitty started out Monday morning. (I feel you, hun.)
Monday.
I twinned with my better half (briefly) on Monday. Sam had a try on of our new dungas to figure out which size he’d need.
(If you care, he went large with extra length in body and leg, in the below photo he’s wearing a large standard.) I feel I should point out that Sam and I are both pretty tall people (5ft11 and 6ft4.)
The Dungas call to me most days right now. Something about ease. Something about comfort. Something about warmth. Something about the rich, velvety midnight shade that just feels sumptuous. All you need is a crisp base layer and a pair of Chucks and you’re good to go!
Paired with a Jaquemus cardi.
Birdseye shot below taken because I love the jasmine double gauze with the midnight jumbo cord.
Tuesday.
Ok, Tuesday I loved getting dressed. I woke up with a spring in my step, and was in the studio at 7.30am, poised with coffee and ready to hit the ground running.
I loved wearing this outfit. It’s one I needed to capture and keep to refer back to on a future grey day.
I’ll break it down piece by piece…
So sumptuously soft. The most perfect misty, mellow blue. The buttons are beautiful (it could just be me that obsesses over things like this) made from 100% corozo. This is a hug and a half when you pull it on. The yummiest of cosy cardis.
Flutter Blouse - White Double Gauze
This is the piece. I’ve loved this blouse for a very long time. It’s long been my go-to. The most beautiful balance of whimsy and minimal- it’s such a clever, charming, imagination-capturing mixture of elements. Works with jeans and trainers, or with the romance turned up to a ten.
The original. These are the best trousers to pull on and do pretty much anything. This actual pair are almost a decade old- I made them for myself out of our first delivery of Ice Cream heavyweight linen I took when I launched Stalf. I prefer the fit of the Cocoons slightly oversized and with extra length for a roll up.
Together, this selection just made me feel so super cosy- I was just in pastel heaven.
