I desperately needed to create something light this week…
…and so I present to you, a meandering and leisurely wander through my wardrobe. Come with me as I hop from one favourite to another. I’ll share my thoughts and we can drum up some happy, Summer-scented outfit inspo.
The new Parma Violet corduroy… a 10/10 fabric and colour way.
I’ve worn this outfit (above) everyday since I took the Dungas home. It’s literally all I want to pull on. This shade of cord feels somehow 70s and also timeless. Soft and delicate and yet also vibrant. The fabric is such a statement that you can pull on whichever garment [in this fabric] takes your preference with nothing more than a vest and trainers and feel great.
Side note: The Everyday Bag with Dumpling (used in tandem- small, loose items in Dumpling, which then goes with everything else into the main Everyday Bag) is a game changing combo for day to day.

If you wanted to get a teeny bit creative, a patterned/clashy blouse thrown over the top gives you a little more something something without having to put too much effort in- let the delicious colour combos do all the heavy lifting.
I’ve been wanting to play with the Birthday Bottoms for a few weeks now.
I’ve a couple of nice dinner dates on the horizon and these are the trousers at the top of my outfit wish list:

Mini dress/tunic over Stalf Wide Trousers is my recipe for the summer, methinks.
It really doesn’t matter if said Wide Trousers are sheer (as in this case) either, since the tunic-length top/oversized blazer gives great bum coverage.
Do you have a Stalf co-ord yet?
They are a great go-to for ease and simplicity. In this case, I selected a combo I’ve not yet worn together: Flutter Dress and Wide Trousers in Liquorice Check. If you’re keen for this combo, it’s past season and so will be a custom Stalf Dreams jobby, simply fill out the form on the site or send me over an email to customerservice@stalf.co.uk
More tunic-meets-wide-trousers content. I’m obsessed with this combo. White linen trousers dressed up for evening are an unexpected delight, IMO.
Mum chastised me for not ironing them for these photos, but I sit firmly in the a-little-crumple-never-hurt-anyone camp on this front.
I paired with a cape mini dress and heels. This is my swish dinner date outfit number 2.
For daytime, the tunic with Wide Trousers combo could look like this:
